Today is the day! Bucket Mouth Designs is the name of my freelance multimedia design company. Previously known as SRP Designs, my logo was becoming outdated and received a much needed facelift! The reason behind the name is personal but relatable. We all have that loud mouth who never shuts up at family parties and loves to laugh and make other laugh with them! Well, that's usually me.
As a child, my dad was always called Bucket Mouth because he was loud, really funny and loved making others laugh. Once I grew into my voice, I became the new Bucket Mouth of the family. It was now a family nickname. I am loud, laugh a lot, and I honestly can't help it.
As I struggled with choosing a freelance design name, it hit me, my designs are loud and bold, I love talking about design and I'm known for my creativity... Bucket Mouth was the perfect fit! I knew I didn't want a bucket or a mouth as a logo because it would be too playful for my style. So I did a LOT of researching and realized a speech bubble was also a perfect fit for a modern but funny personal business name.
